Last night, I had the incredible opportunity to attend our masterclass session featuring Don Ward, the esteemed CEO of Laundris Corporation. Although I had never met Don before, his presence immediately captivated me. He spoke to our group of founders and students about the concept of fear and how to overcome it. Don emphasized the importance of preparation and shared his journey of building resilience through cold calling. I was truly inspired by his authenticity, transparency, and willingness to be vulnerable. What struck me the most was observing Don's mother, who was present in the audience, taking the time to encourage and support the students. This deeply moved me, as I lost my mother when I was just 23 years old. At that moment, I couldn't help but imagine the wisdom and words of motivation that Don's mother had undoubtedly imparted to him, just as she was now sharing with the students in the room. I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Ward for taking the time to uplift and encourage the students in the audience. Your presence and support were truly inspiring, and your words of wisdom will undoubtedly stay with them as they navigate their journeys.
