Airforce base born, Midwest grown and active advocate for all things green, healthy and sustainable here in Montgomery Co. Maryland. I am still teachable. My background includes Worker's Compensation Claims assistant, Banker and Television Production Assistant. The work that brought me the most joy & passion was working for a local food cooperative in Maryland for 3 years before it was closed. I volunteered to come in early for this job. I often stayed late without being asked to. I became a raw diet guru, farmers market, health & wellness advisor and nothing has been more fulfilling as clients taking my suggestions and coming back to thank me for something as small as a Nettle supplement for those who suffer from allergies or informing our members which one of our local honey farms gave free samples. I want to highlight the stories of others who thrive on community and sustainability. The world needs more Food Coops. Food is medicine.
