Biography

Dr. Rony Delgarde is a college professor, global humanitarian, and Founder and CEO of Global Paint for Charity, a trailblazing nonprofit committed to paint waste recovery and reuse as a catalyst for sustainability, economic development, and global community well-being. A recognized leader in the circular economy, Dr. Delgarde's work centers on four key pillars: waste reduction, resource recovery, job creation, and community beautification. His organization has recovered over 5 million gallons of surplus paint and distributed it to underserved communities in over 44 countries, beautifying public spaces and reducing environmental hazards. He is also the author of the best-selling book "How to PAINT Change", which presents his PAINT framework (Purpose, Action, Impact, Networking, and Team Building) for building social enterprises that drive measurable impact. Dr. Delgarde holds a Doctorate in Public Policy and Leadership from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where his research focused on environmental justice and legislative solutions for sustainable paint disposal. As a member of the U.S. Global Leadership Coalition’s Nevada Advisory Committee, he advocates for U.S. global engagement through sustainable development, diplomacy, and innovation. He also serves on the board of 100 Black Men of Las Vegas. He is a sought-after speaker on civic engagement, hybrid business models, and equitable policy solutions that uplift communities locally and globally.
