Elohym da Costa

Elohym is an avid and passionate advocate for multisectoral and intergenerational dialogue, from Luanda, based in Cape Town since 2020, working as a Spatial & Cultural Practitioner. He is the Outreach and Partnerships Lead at Young Urbanists, reversing apartheid-era spatial planning legacies; has worked with Bitprop on delivering affordable housing in marginalised communities; co-founded the NowNow Design Competition, a pan-African platform writing briefs from and about Africa and its future; and is the South Region Head of the African Union of Architects Student Committee. Elohym has also been working as an events planner and art director in youth and community-based organisations since 2016.
