Coastal Ocean Roadmap for Africa Coastal Ocean Roadmap for Africa focuses on multidisciplinary collaboration to build a knowledge -based ,sustainable health for African about 30,000km coastline and coastal communities by combining Environmental factors,the effects of climate change on ecosystem and human settlements, including the effects of increasing sea levels, more frequent and intense storms and varying patterns of precipitationn also we focus on Land Cover change products which are essential in detecting changes in land cover which helps in identifying areas where issues like deforestation and biodiversity loss and urban sprawl are occurring. The overarching goals include improved compression of the interplay between earth’s natural processes and human actions and the creation of plans to deal and adapt to climate change. We don’t stop at this ,we ask ourselves how can we use such knowledge to help the society ,this is where mathematical modelling comes in (to come up with the probability that the risk may occur ) to ensure end-end predictive risk management solutions to help the governing predict and intervene in time ,so we focus more on weather research focused modeling.
