Biography
George Nyandoro, MPH, MSc Epidemiologist | Biostatistician | Data Scientist George Nyandoro is an accomplished epidemiologist and biostatistician with over nine years of international experience in public health research, infectious disease surveillance, and data science. He holds a Master of Science in Biostatistics from the University of Zimbabwe and is currently completing a Master of Public Health (MPH) in International Health and Sustainable Development at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. George has made significant scholarly and scientific contributions across areas such as HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, COVID-19, and antimicrobial resistance. He has co-authored more than 49 peer-reviewed publications, many of which have informed national policies and global health strategies. His research focuses on predictive modeling, Bayesian analysis, machine learning, and the integration of advanced analytics into health systems to improve diagnosis, surveillance, and equitable outcomes in underserved populations. George has worked with ministries of health, WHO-affiliated programs, and academic institutions in Africa, Latin America, and the United States. His technical expertise includes R, Python, SAS, and ArcGIS, and he has led projects involving AI-driven health diagnostics, cohort studies, and health equity mapping. Recognized for his scholarly contributions and research leadership, George is actively building a career at the nexus of translational epidemiology, innovation, and public policy.
